Children’s Choir Performs “Chances” By The Strokes

I don’t know about you all, but I am a sucker for these children’s choir covers. They always brings such an angelic and pure element to songs that are often about an adult’s emotions and experiences. I really adore this version of “Chances”, off of The Strokes fifth and most recent album, 2013’s Comedown Machine. Recreated by The Capitol Choir, the song is impeccably arranged. The band made several festival appearances this past summer, and lead singer Julian Casablancas told the crowd at DC’s Landmark Festival, “We’ll be back soon. We’ll be back in the studio and sh-t.” However rumors have been circulating about their next possible release for the past year, so an estimated release date is out of the question for now. The New York legends are slated to make their final live appearance this year at Live Out Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico.
